Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Online PDF Translator at www.onlinepdftranslator.com (the "Service"), operated by the team behind Online PDF Translator ("we", "us").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

One-time credits: Because AI resources are consumed immediately after processing starts, top-up credits are non-refundable once translation/OCR processing has been initiated.
Subscriptions: You may cancel Monthly, Quarterly, 6-month, or Yearly subscriptions via billing dashboard (Settings -> Billing). After cancellation, subscription credits remain available until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: Refund requests are reviewed case by case (for example, verified technical failure of the Service). Please contact support within seven (7) days of purchase for such requests.

Payment Security

All transactions are securely processed by authorized payment processor Creem (when enabled for your checkout flow). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

Description of the Service

The Service provides online PDF translation and related features (preview, comparison, downloads, optional area selection, and editing workflows). Output quality, layout preservation, and supported languages depend on document complexity and pipeline configuration. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@onlinepdftranslator.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Upload unlawful content, malware, or material that infringes third-party rights.
Probe, disrupt, or bypass security controls or rate limits.
Scrape, resell, or automate access in a way that harms the Service or other users.
Build a competing service by systematic extraction of our UI, APIs, or documentation in violation of applicable law or these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

Your content

You retain rights to PDFs and files you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, translate, store, and transmit your files solely to provide the Service, including storage on Cloudflare R2 and processing by workers and AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the right to upload and process the documents you submit.

Credits, subscriptions, and pricing

Credits and subscription plans are described on the pricing page and may change with notice (for example, pricing updates or in-app notice).
Fees are charged through Creem (or another checkout provider shown at payment step).
Taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction.
Refund and cancellation follow the policy in the section above. Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction remain applicable where non-waivable.
Current OCR usage rule remains: 10 credits = 1 PDF page or 1 image.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Creem when enabled. Creem terms and privacy practices apply at the payment step. We are not responsible for Creem systems beyond reasonable cooperation for issue resolution. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Data retention

Translated files and related storage objects are scheduled for automatic deletion after approximately seven (7) days as described in the Privacy Policy, unless law requires longer retention.

Intellectual property

The Service, software (except open-source components under their own licenses), branding, and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws.

Open-source components remain under their respective licenses; refer to our documentation for attribution and transparency.

Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD 50), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
